Social Media Marketing

At Emma Spencer Living we understand the power of Social Media and are open to working with valued social influencers.

Content

We are looking for unique content, themes, writing styles, photography and video that align with our key messaging and demographics.

Requirements and Deliverables

Here is a list of what we are looking for from an influencer and what will be in the contract.

  • We will require signed photography and model releases to use any images, video or content on our own websites and social media platforms.
  • A min. of 10 social posts that remain on the social media account for a period of no less than 6 months. We suggest the following but are open to other ideas.
    • 3 Twitter posts
    • 3 Facebook posts
    • 4 Instagram posts
  • 1 guest blog post for our blog/website, delivered within 7 days of the stay, with a min of 500 words and 5 images and or video.
  • 1 guest blog post (text to be approved by Emma Spencer Living prior to posting) on the influencer’s blog/website, min of 250 words with images.
  • # hashtags and keywords to be included in the posts. A list of keywords to select from will be supplied. 
  • We require at least two keyword rich links back to our website.
  • Posts must not contain any vulgar language, any reference to religion, politics nor any bias of any people for race, color, sexual orientation or other demographic.
  • Influencer will not provide and promote a similar service for a competitor within 30 days of the campaign end date.
  • Signed W9 for US contractors. Any payments or trade will be reported in our year-end taxes via our tax accountant.
  • A credit card will need to be kept on file so that if the influencer does not deliver on the contract we will charge the nightly rate for the room and services that have been offered in compensation for the media exposure promised.

Demographics

The influencer needs to have at least a following of more than 250k across their combined media channels. There also needs to be an active core following with engagement from the followers. We utilize a number of tools such as https://hypeauditor.com to evaluate accounts before making a decision, in addition, we also review your website, blog or other promotional avenues.

Content Exposure

We request that the influencer share their content across multiple channels online including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other platforms. We look for imagery and storytelling that promotes the property and surrounding area and will look at other similar projects in your portfolio to see the style in which you have promoted other properties.

We will require a Social Media Contract to be signed by the individual property manager and the social media storyteller. The agreement outlines the deliverables, compensation indemnification etc. All our influencers must comply with the FTC guidelines concerning the use of Testimonials and Endorsements in digital advertising and disclose at the time of posting that there has been a free or discounted product given in exchange for the endorsement.
